Hey, I'm Christine, the owner of DonnaWilkesOnline. My sister helps me out with the layout and HTML because she is not only excellent with graphic design, but she has a lot more patience with it than I do! But all of the photos, articles and memorabilia you see on the site are from my own personal Donna Wilkes collection (unless otherwise noted). I originally opened the site back in 2001 and although it wasn't anything like it is now, it was the first site ever created dedicated to Donna! It was accidentally deleted but with Shannon's help, I was able to get it back up and running!

One thing I am asked quite often is, "What made you become so interested in Donna?", as most of her fans are predominantly male. It's really not complicated: I have always been a huge fan of the movie Jaws, and I even enjoy the sequels. I first saw Jaws 2 when I was thirteen years old. I remember watching it with my family and a family friend, and everyone was going on about how annoying Donna's character, Jackie was. But to me, I thought she was an excellent portrayal of how I would have reacted in the very same situation. A lot of characters in movies are unusually calm and pulled together in even the deadliest of situations, and that has always seemed so unrealistic to me. Donna's portrayal of a hysterical teenage girl really hit home with me because, as much as I love the Jaws series and the ocean, I am terrified of sharks! I don't think I could ever remain calm and keep my cool in a situation like that! One of my favorite scenes is right after the character Marge gets killed, and Jackie is so hysterical, she starts screaming and pulling her hair. The first time I saw the movie, that part gave me chills, and I think it helps make that particular scene the most terrifying in the movie. Even Tina didn't scream like that when her own boyfriend got killed right in front of her! It wasn't long before I decided to look up more information about Donna and what other movies she was in.

I am currently 27 years old and have now been a fan of Donna's for over fourteen years. I am probably one of her youngest fans! I live in upstate New York with my wonderful husband, John. We were married on October 15, 2011. I am currently a Paralegal for a local law firm.

Aside from Donna, I am also interested in movies (all kinds, although horror remains my favorite), music, drawing, painting, reading, some graphic design, writing fiction, stand-up comedy and anything outdoors. I love to bike, walk, hike, camp and swim (although I still get very nervous when I go in the ocean!).

I love to meet new people and to hear from other Donna fans. I get a lot of e-mails from people who once knew Donna and it's always interesting to learn something new about her!
